Another options is to find folks who don't have the items Nick is asking for and make them a deal.

I've offered 3-2 splits on the gifts to folks who didn't have red iris flowers or linen. Works nice because they get 2 free gifts and you can get 3 more with your account. I had a bunch of linen anyway so it didn't really cost me much. I guess I could have sold the linen, but am more interested in getting the gifts right now to try to get the minis.

Also, does anyone else think Nick plays a more significant role in the GW story line? Or more simply this is just another in-game perpetual quest?

He moves between Sunday and Monday.

Last week he moved on Monday afternoon between 4 and 6 pm GMT ,a little later than he should have according to wiki but meh .

I think he moves at the same time the Zaishen quests refresh on Mondays. This is 6PM at +1 GMT (the Netherlands).

I'm sure thats not really the way it works, but it would be cool

he's just like any other collector except he gives epic things and moves and changes his item.

So yeah just a perpetual "quest" for the minis.

He does have 'Mysterious' items, so he could be the 'Mysterious Stranger', though I agree that he's probably just a collector

He Will be traveling to all the continents. In his story from the pre-searing version of Nicholas Sandford same guy as post Nic remeber just called a diff name
if you have been reading He has mentioned Cantha and a few other areas.

Yeah, it'll probably be a long cycle through (I'd guess) at least 5 locations/continent before (maybe) going back to the start. Or, if he is a "stimulus package" like I suspect (conspiracy theorize about?), he might just vanish or die or summat. Like he's a one-time-only deal or something. Boy, would gift prices jump if that were true...
